There is so much going on in this photo. The absolute pristine wilderness in the background...the man-made truck in the foreground propelled forward by a child's hand...if I were still in grad school, I'd have a field day analyzing this one! :)Regardless, it's a beautiful shot!
I am so loving getting inspired by all the links in Soulemama's post but I must admit as much as I simply and purely adore this one, my initially reaction was similar to Caroline's "but... it's MAY!"
i love love this image. cozy on the inside and snowy a falling outside. feels so safe! plus my little one has a windowsill just like this one...perfect height, perfect width of sill...her little command center!
I just found your blog from Pam's, and I LOVE IT! I'm adding you to my blog roll. And I bestowed a very similar necklace on myself for Valentine's day. I'll be back.
Thank you for such kind and heartfelt comments, ladies! Everyone's thoughts brought a smile to my face :) Taking part in this Friday ritual through SouleMama has really been a blast (and I've come across such lovely new blogs in the process!). While I've always been a picture-taker, keeping my eyes open (and my camera close) for each week's "moment" has forced me to be more present in my daily round. Thanks once again for stopping by and taking the time to leave a comment!
I hope you are getting all unpacked and snugged in to your new place. It's always nice to whip out a reminder of the cold weather to enjoy the warmer breezes.
I am a wife and mother dedicated to making our home a haven: our little refuge where we try to fill our days as much as we can with the three
"L's": Laughing, Loving, and Living! I'm passionate about all things pertaining to the home and (especially) nourishing the souls that reside within our four walls.

ReplyDeleteI like the warmth of the indoors and the amazing fact that it's snowing in May. Spring will come! I promise. Take Care.
